    Haley Fisher

Founder & Owner of Pure Passion Dance

Haley started dancing at the age of two and started teaching right after she graduated high school at the age of eighteen. Her love and passion for dance has only grown over the years, inspiring her to create Pure Passion Dance.

She has always (and still does) loved a good push, and her mission is to create a space where dancers of all ages learn the importance of hard work, dedication, and accountability, which she believes will in turn lead to great dancers. She values teaching kids the tools they need to thrive so regardless of what they pursue outside the studio, they will be prepared for whatever their own unique journey has in store for them. The lessons go beyond just dance, and it is our mission to create strong, independent, and successful people.

She is a lifelong learner herself, so when she isn’t teaching, you will probably catch her in a class or practicing on her own. She is so excited for next adventure, where her passion meets purpose.

  • Alysha Turnbull

    Hip Hop Instructor

Alysha started dancing at the age of three and began teaching at nineteen. Over the years, she’s trained extensively in hip hop, tap, jazz, lyrical, and ballet, with hip hop quickly becoming her biggest passion.

She’s always loved being challenged and believes in creating a space where dancers feel supported, inspired, and pushed to grow. Her goal is to help students build confidence, discipline, and creativity—both in and out of the studio.

Alysha continues to train whenever she can, learning from artists across Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Toronto. She’s so excited to be part of Pure Passion Dance and to share her love for hip hop with the next generation of dancers.

  • Skye Zhang

Beginner and Youth Ballet and Jazz Instructor

Miss Skye began dancing at the age of nine, and fell in love with it after her first ballet class. Training in many styles including ballet, acro, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, and tap. However, ballet has always had a special place in her heart, with her ballet teacher playing a main role in her love of ballet. Moving forward, Miss Skye wishes to spread the joys of ballet that her ballet teacher taught her.

As she got older, she joined her studio’s competition team as well as their student teaching program, which began her passion for teaching dance. Throughout Miss Skye’s dance journey, she has received many acclamations, including numerous special awards and scholarships. But above all, Miss Skye is thrilled to be able to continue to spread her love of dance as the upcoming dance season is arriving.
