Our Story

Haley Fisher created Pure Passion Dance in 2025. Since she started her dance journey at the age of two in Calgary, she has never looked back, and her love and passion have only grown every day.

The year after she graduated from high school, she was asked to teach at a local studio. She always loved dance and being around kids and thought it would be a great opportunity. Little did she know, being an instructor and mentor would become such a huge part of her life.

After several years of dancing, instructing, and working with both kids and adults, she knew that this was something she wanted to pursue long-term. Haley created Pure Passion Dance to not only teach kids dance, but to teach kids how to work hard, support others, be humble, and become the best people they can be.

It is important to us that we create an environment where dancers can grow up, become independent, and be okay on their own, no matter what that looks like for each individual. We believe that, to create good dancers, we first must teach and model what it means to work hard, be there for others, have respect for one another, and work hard for what we want. With that, we know every student will find their way.

Haley's passion for dance is something she values so much, and she wants every dancer, no matter what their purpose is for dance, to leave each day feeling inspired, motivated, and with a full heart. What each dancer learns in the studio will carry with them for life, and we are so lucky as leaders to be a part of something so special.
